In our little corner of the web you will
find information on Genealogy, Security and
Privacy, Linux and Software. In addition
to my own commentaries, you will find links
to a number of other sites and sources that
I have found useful. The links below will
"go live" as I get their associated
pages organized.
By the way, you will notice a decided lack of "eye candy" on most of my pages. I like web pages that load fast and get me to the content. Consequently, I tend to restrict the graphic elements to those required to keep the page from being thoroughly boring.
- Genealogy - Our family history and links to some other
genealogy-related sites. If you are just
getting started, or just getting interested,
there are some useful links here.
- Linux - If you're new to Linux, this section will
provide you with some good basic information
and links to sites and resources to help
you get going. Making the transition from
Windows can be a daunting task. When you
set about becoming your own sysadmin, you will find a lot of decisions
you need to make, and always choices, choices,
choices!
- Software - Windows and Linux. What it does
and why I use it.
- Security and Privacy - These are issues that concern every one
of us. Ignore them at your peril.
- Just for Fun - This is where I put stuff that doesn't
really seem to fit anywhere else. It gave
me a chuckle and I want to share.
- Airplanes - Images of some of my favorite airplanes.
I have flown most of them and drooled over
all of them.
- History and Politics - This is my soapbox.
If you agree with me, that's cool. If you
don't, that's cool, too. One of the neat
things about this country is that we each
have a right to our own opinions.
- Lest We Forget - September 11, 2001.

These are the fine folks who host my website.
Their prices are reasonable and tech-support
is top-notch. If you are looking for someplace
to put your website, give them a look. You'll
like what you see.
